Sources should be quoted in the text, e.g. (page 20, A Reporter in Subud, Vittachi, 1963), or given as footnotes.
CITATIONS OUTSIDE OF SUBUD: Feel free to cite sources and examples from outside of Subud. In fact, we encourage it. If we confine ourselves to looking only inside the tiny of circle of Subud, and turn our backs on the vast family of humanity, we may well end up midgets, making mistakes that others avoid as a matter of course.
QUOTING BAPAK: Where Bapak is quoted, it would be preferred if the date and place can be given. However, it is accepted that many important things Bapak said made a lasting impression when heard live, but that the precise date and place may be impossible to remember. We will accept such quotations in good faith.
