A great and vivid analysis. Explains the "faith" that powers our institutionalised complacency. No wonder change in Subud is opposed. It disturbs the Arcadian belief system.
So we become like the orthodox Jews who seem time-locked, indifferent to the currents of modern society and totally seperate. Still (after 2 millenia) waiting for the Messiah to herald their Golden Age and to prove them right!
